Brenda Hernandez leads the development of visual art and media youth programs grounded in youth-culture and contemporary art practices at Yollocalli Arts Reach of the National Museum of Mexican Art.  Brenda has curated cultural programs for the City of Chicago's Chicago Artists Month and currently forms part of the Creative Industries Advisory Committee.  Brenda has helped produce music festivals in Chicago, including Soul Togetherness USA.  She has written about cultural programming for AREA and Contratiempo Magazine.
