Emily Gustafson is a Detroit-based artist born and raised in the suburbs of Metro Detroit.  After earning her B.F.A. and then M.F.A. in Painting from her studies at S.V.A. in New York City, UArts in Philadelphia, and finally Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, she now perceives and makes life like Don Quixote.
