Nitasha Deogun

Nitasha Deogun is a Detroit-based artist and the director of the Museum of Healing, an exhibition space in Eastern Market that explores topics relating to hospitals, injury, disease, medicine and recovery.  She received dual B.F.A. degrees in textiles and metalsmithing from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 2004 and an M.B.A. from DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business in 2011.  Her work has been exhibited in Oakland, CA; Taos, NM; Chicago, IL; Harlem, NY; Madison, WI and Detroit, MI.
